Study abroad

Studying abroad provides an opportunity to see the world, experience new cultures, make new friends and change your perspective by studying overseas as part of your degree.

Many students study abroad for a full year as part of a four year degree, but there are also some opportunities to study abroad for a semester as part of a three year degree programme. Opportunities will vary depending on your course of study, but most of our courses across the University offer the chance to study abroad.

You could spend time studying in Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mexico, South Korea and the US among many other options - we have around 250 university partners worldwide.

Studying abroad gives you the opportunity to improve your confidence and increase your employability by developing your skills and experience and you don’t need to be fluent in another language to study abroad - most of our partner institutions teach in English.
